Consider a velvet prom dress that features a traditional V-neck, ruched side seams, or a flocked velvet design like our best-selling Morgan Formal Flocked Velvet Dress. A velvet dress is an ideal choice for your semi-formal and formal occasions year-round. The primary difference between house, day and evening dresses were the fabrics and patterns or the amount of trim. Fabrics for house dresses were mostly cotton in cheerful prints like plaid, checks, gingham and polka dots.
